Find the Area of a Triangle

I work at this constantly, since it’s one of my greatest fears of all for getting old. One day I was in the bookstore and saw a practice book for the GED. I flipped through it and was shocked. I couldn’t answer any of the math questions. I took advanced math in college and was quite good at the time, but over the years I didn’t have much use for general math.

So, I bought the damn book and retaught myself all those old skills that I was good at. You know… it felt good to be able to find the area of a triangle again. There was no reason for me to know this stuff now, but I was happy to have that skill set back in my life. Silly huh?
